One of the best books on filters you can buy. Subjects covered include:
- Properties of Light and Film
- Using Chromatic Filters with Color Film
- Using Chromatic Filters with Black and White Film
- Creative Filter Applications
The book is well illustrated and contains some nice comparisons of various filters (e.g. several soft focus filters). My only criticism is that I wish there were even more "before" and "after" comparisons!
